Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant Team Leader based in Baghdad. The Accountant Team Leader will oversee accounting operations, manage financial reporting, and lead a team of accountants to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities include preparing budgets, monitoring expenditures, reconciling accounts, and supporting financial audits. Additionally, the role includes enhancing internal processes and maintaining effective communication with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial reporting, budget preparation, and account reconciliation
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills
• Expertise in accounting software and tools, as well as a solid understanding of accounting principles
• Analytical abilities for solving financial discrepancies and driving process improvements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a plus
