Role Overview – Site Structural Engineer | Building Structures & Sustainable Structural Solutions

We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Site Structural Engineer to support the on-site execution of complex building and infrastructure projects at SSE. This role is focused on ensuring that structural works are delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with approved designs and project requirements. The role is based on site in the New Administrative Capital. You will play a key role in coordinating site activities, resolving technical challenges, and driving the successful delivery of structural elements on site.

Main Responsibilities – Site Execution, Coordination, and Delivery

• Oversee and manage day-to-day on-site structural activities to ensure smooth and efficient execution
• Coordinate closely with contractors, subcontractors, and site teams to deliver structural works in line with project schedules
• Interpret and implement structural drawings, shop drawings, and method statements accurately on site
• Support the execution of reinforced concrete, steel, and other structural systems in accordance with specifications
• Identify and resolve on-site technical issues in coordination with the design and engineering teams
• Monitor site progress and proactively address delays, risks, or resource gaps
• Ensure proper use of materials and contribute to minimizing waste and rework
• Maintain site records, including daily reports, site logs, and progress updates
• Enforce health and safety standards and promote a safe working environment across all site activities
• Support quality checks during execution to ensure work is delivered as per project requirements

What You Bring – Site Experience, Technical Knowledge & Execution Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent qualification
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in site-based structural engineering within building or infrastructure projects
• Strong ability to read and interpret structural drawings and construction documents
• Practical understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and site operations
• Ability to manage site coordination with multiple stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to technical challenges
• Good communication skills and ability to report clearly on site progress
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced site environment
• Commitment to safety, quality, and timely project delivery
