Individual Development Academy Analyst – Be Part of a Legacy Bigger Than the Game

Overview:
As the Individual Development Analyst for the Academy at Al-Qadsiah Club, you will be a vital member of the Academy Analysis department who provide data-driven insights and video analysis to enhance long-term player/coach development, support coaching decisions and evaluate the progress/implementation of our Game and Training models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the analysis provision for Individual Players across your age group (U17 and U18).
- Plan with Lead Academy Analyst and Head of Individual Development to ensure analysis is being provided to key players across age groups.
- Lead, track and manage Individual Development Plans within your age group. Work closely with multi-disciplinary team to ensure there is a holistic approach on each players development.
- Using both video and data, lead Individual Player Case Studies for the Elite Players within your age group.
- Provide coaching staff and players with telestrated video, data and material from both games and training that supports the development of individual players and their Individual Development Plan
- Assist with team analysis provision when required. Ensuring this does not replace the Individual Development role.
- Daily Requirements: Age group training and assistance prior to training
- Game Requirements: Assist your age group games when required
- Upload any required footage to Hudl and ensure players Individual and Best Practice playlists are up to date for the age groups you are working with
- Travelling with your age group and other squads when required
- Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities which your line manager or another senior manager at the club asks you to perform
- Attend and contribute to any staff meeting/CPD and attend any relevant training requirements e.g., first aid, safeguarding etc.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Analysis (or related field)
- UEFA C Licence coaching qualification (or equivalent)
Desirable:
- Master’s Degree in Analysis (or related field)
- UEFA B Licence coaching qualification (or equivalent)
- FIFA Guardian safeguarding qualification
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Essential:
- Proficient in the use of Mac iOS and Windows operating systems / software including; Keynote, Numbers, Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
- Experience working within academy football and passionate about Individual Player Development
- Personable and able to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team including coaches, sport science, medical staff etc.
- Ability to work efficiently, diligently and to tight deadlines under pressure to meet the needs of the role
- Forward thinking and proactive around department and personal development
- Proactive, willing to learn and challenge respectfully to move the department forward
Desirable:
- Previous experience using performance analysis software mainly, Sportscode and other Hudl products
- Previous experience using performance analysis hardware with the ability to capture footage (live when required)
- Multilingual skills, particularly English, Spanish and Arabic
