Ensure understanding of the strategic objective for the Bank and support in achieving the department’s strategy and related strategic plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve assigned portfolio growth and profitability targets by effectively managing a portfolio of corporate clients and optimizing the utilization of credit and non-credit products.
Identify new business opportunities and contribute to client acquisition strategies in line with the Bank’s marketing and growth objectives.
Ensure effective relationship management by maintaining strong engagement with corporate clients, understanding their financial needs, and delivering tailored banking solutions.
Conduct periodic client reviews, including annual reviews, site visits, and performance assessments, to ensure alignment with approved account plans and risk parameters.
Appraise credit proposals and provide high-quality credit analysis and memos in coordination with internal stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
Assure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk frameworks while managing client portfolios and credit exposures.
Liaise with internal functions such as Credit Risk, Credit Control, and other relevant departments to facilitate efficient processing, approvals, and portfolio monitoring.
Negotiate banking solutions, pricing, and terms with clients to ensure competitiveness while safeguarding the Bank’s financial interests.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date client documentation and records in line with compliance and operational standards.
Communicate portfolio performance, pipeline updates, and key risks to management through regular reports and structured updates.
Report on key performance indicators including portfolio growth, return on assets (ROA), facility utilization, and new relationship acquisition against agreed targets.
Contribute to cross-selling initiatives by promoting the Bank’s full suite of products and services to existing and prospective clients
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a relevant major is preferred. Professional Certificate
CFA, FRM Certificates are preferred.
Years of Experience around +5 years of experience with a preference 3 years of experience in a relevant role.
Prior experience in Corporate Banking, Relationship Management, or Credit Analysis within the banking sector or a relevant field is preferred.
