Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Lead end-to-end execution of HV substation civil works (≥132kV) including:

   • Equipment foundations (transformers, breakers, CTs, etc.)

   • Control buildings and substation structures

   • Precast concrete elements

   • Steel structures foundations and supporting civil works

   • Fencing, drainage, roadworks within substation boundary

2. Ensure strict execution as per approved IFC drawings, specifications, and authority requirements.

3. Manage full project lifecycle activities from mobilization to final handover and demobilization.

4. Supervise and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and precast installation crews.

5. Review and implement method statements, ITPs, and construction sequences specific to precast works.

6. Coordinate with design consultants, clients, and authorities for approvals and inspections.

7. Ensure compliance with HSE standards and lifting/handling safety for precast elements.

8. Coordinate interfaces with electrical and mechanical teams (excluding cable laying scope).

9. Monitor project progress, productivity, and resource allocation to meet project timelines.

10. Identify technical issues, resolve site challenges, and manage design clarifications.

11. Maintain complete site documentation including progress reports, inspection records, and QA/QC documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Strong experience in HV substation civil construction (≥132kV and above only).

2. Mandatory experience in precast concrete works (design coordination, fabrication interface, installation, and erection).

3. Experience across full project lifecycle (initiation to handover).

4. DEWA/ETIHADWE/SEWA/FEWA/ADDC/AADC/TRANSCO/TAQA or any Related Utility Approval

5. Strong site execution, coordination, and leadership skills.
