ESMOS Recruitment is looking for a Commercial Director for one of our clients based in Dubai.
The Commercial Director is responsible for leading commercial strategy, driving revenue growth, and managing sales operations across the business, with a strong focus on B2B events.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement commercial and sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
• Lead and manage sales teams, setting targets and driving performance
• Oversee the full sales lifecycle, from lead generation to deal closure
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
• Identify new markets, sectors, and revenue streams
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and finance teams to optimize performance
• Ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and budget management
Requirements:
• Degree educated with a proven track record in a senior commercial role within medium to large-scale B2B events
• Strong leadership experience in managing key accounts and stakeholder engagement
• 5–7 years’ experience within medium to large-scale events, including sales and project management
• 3–5 years’ experience leading and managing commercial or sales teams
• Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and deliver against targets
• Industry experience (e.g., healthcare or related sectors) is advantageous but not essential
• Strong commercial acumen, communication, and stakeholder management skills
