Responsibilities Become the SPOC person for Food Safety in October plant. Managing the food safety systems to assure consumer protection systems including HACCP, food defense, food fraud, GMP & PepsiCo Food Safety Mandates. Team member in projects team, responsible for revision of the design and layout to get sure its conformity for food safety requirements. Conduct the needed risk assessment for projects done within the production area/surrounding areas that may pose risk to product safety and determine the precautions needed to overcome the risks may be introduced by the project phases. Following up during the projects execution and supervise the tracking of the projects snag-list relative to food safety. Enforce operation to comply with the pre-requisite programs. Form, train and lead the food safety teams. Develop, review & validate HACCP, food defense & food fraud studies. Plan for regular verification of HACCP, food defense & food fraud. Review the SOPs that may impact food safety. Review training needs, plans, materials, and exams prepared by FS specialists. Review the sanitation programs of lines and areas and follow up execution. Develop & review the PEM plan of the site, follow up the sampling process, review the testing results and call EMRT for meeting to take the necessary actions. Prepare a forecast of the needed MOH and control spending along the year. Review the raised MOCs for every single significant change at the site that may or may not affect safety of product / consumer. Lead investigation of incidents relative to FS, review the needed actions, follow up on the action plan and modify the preparedness for emergencies’ plan. Keeping the site prepared for the AIB, FSSC & NFSA audits any time. Lead the inspection plan in the site (monthly internal AIB, internal FSSC audit, daily inspection), and outside the corresponding site (cross audits and audit the expected partners when needed). Review the action plans prepared by/with the different departments and determine the weak planned actions to be addressed to the site heads. Design KPIs for site’s food safety performance and track the results along the year. Lead frequent meetings to discuss food safety performance. Prepare for the external AIB Inspection, FSSC22000and NFSA Audits and develop an action plan for the findings. Tracking the invoices received, get the needed approvals, and follow up till they are paid. Follow up on issuing the needed PRs and POs. Contribute to pick up a pest controller for the site, review the IPM program suggested by the contractor, follow up the execution, and develop analysis system for trends and raw data. Contribute to the preparedness for R&D trials by reviewing risk assessment and needed precautions included in HTC and follow up on the execution. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in science, Agriculture, Food Technology, or any relevant field. 4-5 years of Quality & Food safety experience in FMCGs. Very good English language is required.
