The Role
We’re looking for an Agricultural Engineer who understands the landscaping contractor world from the inside, someone who can support clients technically, drive lead generation, and contribute to product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support landscaping contractors with soil assessments, application rate recommendations, and material submittal documentation
- Identify and develop new client leads in the landscaping and contractor space
- Provide on-site technical support during product incorporation
- Conduct pre- and post-application soil sampling and analysis for client projects
- Support the sales team in client meetings and presentations
- Manage field trials and demonstration projects on client sites
- Develop and optimize soil blends for specific landscaping applications including minerals and biochar formulations
- Contribute to R&D on new product lines
- Build and maintain relationships with landscape consultants, specifiers, and contractor procurement teams
Requirements:
- BSc in Agricultural Engineering, Soil Science, Horticulture, or related field
- 5–8 years experience working with or for landscaping contractors in KSA or GCC
- Practical understanding of landscaping project execution
- Soil science fundamentals amendments, irrigation, plant establishment in arid conditions
- Lab competency, soil and compost analysis
- Strong communication skills
- MSc in a relevant field
- Experience with composting or organic waste products (Preferred)
- Knowledge of LEED or sustainability certification frameworks (Preferred)
- Familiarity with SASO standards and MEWA regulations (Preferred)
- Existing network in the KSA landscaping sector (Preferred)
