Eagle Chemicals Group is seeking a highly experienced Inbound Logistics Operations Supervisor to join our Supply Chain team. The ideal candidate must have a solid background in freight forwarding and a proven track record in handling inbound customs clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Inbound Operations: Oversee all inbound shipments, ensuring they are processed from the port to the warehouse efficiently.
Customs Clearance: Manage the full customs clearance cycle for imported goods, ensuring compliance with local regulations and minimizing delays.
Vendor & Network Management: Utilize a strong network within the shipping industry (shipping lines, ports, and ground operations) to streamline logistics.
Freight Forwarding: Handle communication with international freight forwarders to optimize shipping routes and costs.
On-Ground Supervision: Coordinate on-ground operations at the shipping sites and ports to ensure smooth handling of cargo.
Job Requirements
Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Inbound Logistics, specifically in Freight Forwarding and Customs Clearance.
Networking: Must have an established “Network on the Ground” (Shipping sites, customs authorities, and logistics providers).
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of shipping documents, Incoterms, and Egyptian customs laws.
Skills: Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
