We are hiring a CRPEP-licensed Electrical Engineer to manage design, installation, testing, and commissioning of fire alarm and fire-fighting electrical systems. The role requires strong site experience, technical knowledge, and the ability to handle projects independently.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Engineering
- Prepare electrical designs, load calculations, SLDs, and shop drawings
- Review and approve submittals, materials, and technical documents
- Ensure compliance with Bahrain Civil Defense, NFPA, and EWA standards
Project Execution & Supervision
- Supervise installation of:
- Fire alarm systems
- Fire pump controllers & MCC panels
- Emergency & exit lighting
- Fire suppression control systems (FM200, NOVEC, CO₂)
- Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and as-built drawings
- Handle Civil Defense submissions and approvals
- Maintain project documentation and commissioning reports
Requirements (Strict Screening Criteria)
- CRPEP License (any grade) – Mandatory (No exceptions)
- Diploma or Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering
- 3–7 years of experience in fire fighting / fire alarm / MEP projects
- Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and Bahrain regulations
- Experience with fire alarm systems (e.g., Honeywell, Siemens, Notifier, GST)
- Ability to read electrical drawings, SLDs, and wiring diagrams
- Proven site supervision and team handling experience
